July 30, 2026
Timing your bulk winter tire order to get the best price and avoid stock-outs in snow season.
Order early
Wholesale winter tire stock is tightest from October to December. Ordering in July–September gets the best pricing and selection.
Look for the 3PMSF symbol
The three-peak mountain snowflake symbol means the tire meets severe snow performance requirements. Customers look for it.
How many to stock
Look at last season's sales and add 10–20% for early storms. Popular sizes are 215/65R16, 225/65R17 and 235/65R17.
