Plan replenishment by size, not wheel diameter

Separate passenger, SUV and LT requirements in your sales records. A 17-inch tire is not a substitute for every 17-inch fitment. Specify the full size, required load index, speed rating and any XL or LT designation. Seasonal and staggered fitments need their own checks.

Compare minimum order cost and shelf space

Passenger listings have a 20-tire minimum; touring and SUV listings have a 16-tire minimum. These are per-listing requirements, not a combined basket minimum. Compare the cost of each line with your expected demand and storage capacity instead of assuming that the lowest per-tire price is the best restocking choice.
